Vegetable
research and development in Southeast Asia: the AVNET final report
AVRDC. 1993.
A description of the achievements
of the Collaborative Vegetable Research Program in Southeast
Asia (AVNET), the first regional network established by AVRDC.
The publication describes activities conducted from 1989-1992
by AVRDC and national scientists in Indonesia, Malaysia, the
Philippines and Thailand. These activities included identifying
superior varieties, reducing plant disease losses, controlling
