Vegetable-based Small-scale Enterprise Development in CLV Countries
 
 

Vientiane, Lao PDR. Recognizing the more important role of small scale enterprises (SSE) in the economy of CLV countries, the ADB funded RETA 6376 will be holding a regional training-workshops to formulate an action for SSE development from 29 November to 1 December 2007. In this workshop, participants will be able to identify the existing country situation of small-scale enterprises for vegetables; understand the process in setting up a small-scale enterprise; realize that people's participation in development cycle is vital to improve their rural livelihoods; enhance their knowledge on entrepreneurship, good business practices, and marketing strategies; and improve their skills in forming a functioning group and in using technology.
