AVRDC - The World Vegetable Center has developed a collection of tomato lines for distribution to national agricultural research systems, non-government organizations, seed companies, and farmers.

All of these seeds are inbred lines. They are open-pollinated and uniform in type. Farmers may save these seeds from crop to crop, and seed companies may use these lines to create F1 hybrids.

Most of these lines have been developed for production in the tropics. All lines are public goods and cannot be patented by private individuals or companies.
