and diseases caused by tobamoviruses such as pepper mild mottle virus (PMMV), and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).

anthracnose
Several fungal pathogens, such as Colletotrichum (anthracnose), Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and Phytophthora, can also be transmitted on or in the seeds. The spread of these diseases are lessened by the application of fungicides Captan or Benlate on seed surfaces.
